While some updates can be made by you, there are others — such as updates to your Beneficiary Designations — that require you to complete and return a form. But, you can do so securely via myPENSION.

Getting married | Marital status: Update to “married” — congratulations! — and send us a copy of your Marriage Certificate via myPENSION; add your spouse’s details. Family name: If applicable. Personal contact details: Like your residential or email addresses if now different. Beneficiary Designation: Complete the Beneficiary Form; if your now-spouse is already listed as a beneficiary they will become your primary, first in line to receive death/survivor benefits; consider naming contingent beneficiary(ies); securely return the form to us via myPENSION. | ||
Having a child(ren) | Beneficiary Designation: Complete the Beneficiary Form, adding your child(ren) as beneficiary (if applicable); securely return the form to us via myPENSION. | ||
Separation or divorce | Refer to If you separate/divorce for details about the impact of this event on your pension. | ||
If your spouse/partner passes away | Personal contact details: Like your residential or email address if now different.
